As I may have said before I usually walk to school . The only time I take the school bus is a Tuesday when I am on bus duty. These are some of the sights I saw on my morning walk this week. The horses were unattended and were casually walking down the road. Very polite...they even wished me a good day!! We've had very little rain this week so it's been nice. Locals are worried though --- this could mean water shortage later on in the year.Things don't get any quieter hereand I am kept very busy. The best of all is our Whole School Staff Meeting.....it's on Thursday night starting at 7pm Last night it finished at 9.30pm Where else in the world?????? Tomorrow 's Dorm Outing is a visit to a nearby dam. We're leaving around 10am. The dam is apparently approx 20km down the road. We're taking a picnic lunch. Pray for sunshine!!! In the evening we are going to socialise with St Hilda's ---that's a nearby Girls School...I SUSPECT THERE'LL BE LOTS OF SHRIEKING Will post pics of the day.

It's a gorgeous autumnal morning here in Edinburgh - crisp and sunny. Water shortages are such an alien concept to us in normally soggy Scotland (soggier if you live in Lewis). How is the wrist? You sound like you are busy 24/7 - do you get much free time? Looks like Craig Burley is going to get the sack so there is a job opening coming up here in Scotland...
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are excellent Rose. We are enjoying them immensely, so do keep them comming. It is certainly a colourful country in more ways than one. You obviously find it busier than working in Edinburgh - I suppose all the extra activities take time. But the ethos probably makes up for that. Do take care, and we hope the wrist is improving.
ReplyDeleteBet you didn't set tripod up for the horses, bet you were a bit wary.
ReplyDeleteWe've had 4 calm sunny days but back to grey this monday morning so I am just about to go to Warrender for a swim. Have to get the knee strong for rematch at tennis next year!!!
Federer playing Del Poitro in US open final this evening. Wonder who Murray may want to win!!!
Home alone this week Raymond is away at School in Theology, looking forward to the end of this week, on holiday then, hope our pleasant weather continues. Your pictures are certainly painting a very interesting picture. How long is the p.o.p on for.
